Good enough
The hotel room was decently clean (can be better but it was good enough). We checked for bed bugs as there is a review from a year ago that mentions this, but in our room we did not find any. The bed was comfortable, the pillows not so much, but we got free extra pillows from the reception. We had a view of the ocean but it's at a busy road so we did not use the balcony. You have a nice fridge and a bath in which you can also shower. Parking in all surrounding streets for free. Bakery, store and pharmacy nearby. The cleaning team respects the door signs and comes back later every day to clean.
The hotel doesn't respect their own rules regarding the towels. They were changed every day even if we left them hanging. The interior design is not in a modern style (it's not old material, it's just the design style choices that are old). That's personal preference of course, but carpet on the floors is just not very hygienic. The food is expensive and there are many bad reviews about it, so we decided not to eat here. Also, no clear vegetarian options for the food (maybe if you ask). One elevator was out of order (and was not fixed) and another one was really shaky. The airco when put on the highest setting (there are 2 settings), is very loud. They do not have a scale to weigh your luggage. The location, as is described, is indeed not in the centre, you need to walk for 25 minutes at least. There was a fun event one evening in the hotel, but it was not advertised sadly and we only discovered it by accident.
